Hollis Adams Foundation is proud to be co-sponsoring our second annual FREE Prom for people with special needs (16 and older) on May 29th from 6:30p-9p at White River Christian Church. The prom is a Masquerade Ball so it is a formal event. Put on your suits and dresses and join us for a wonderful evening!
What else does the night have to offer? You can start the evening off with a make-over! We will do hair, nails, and make-up as well as provide suits and dresses if you don’t happen to have something that makes you feel like a star.
After you are looking your best, you will be given a boutonniere or corsage to bring out that extra something special and given a chance to have your picture taken. This is the perfect opportunity to get a glamor shot or a beautiful picture with you and your friends while you are all dressed up!
Now you are ready to dance! Don’t forget to put on your mask (provided) as it is a Masquerade Ball after all! You can see old friends and meet new ones! People came from over an hour away to take part in this amazing event last year.
Prom is a great event and it doesn’t end with friends and dancing. Drinks with umbrellas and appetizers will be available throughout the evening. A King and Queen will be crowned and a horse and carriage from Agape may also be available to give rides to our special guests.
Before leaving, don’t forget to grab your gift bag with your pictures from the beginning of the evening.
HAF cannot do this alone and has partnered with the following organizations to make this event possible:
Autism Society of Indiana, Circle of Friends, Down Syndrome Indiana, JANUS Developmental Services, Mephibosheth Ministries, Special Olympics of Hamilton County, and White River Christian Church.
This is a night to remember! Don’t forget to register or volunteer!
